Caraga State University (formerly Northern Mindanao State Institute of Science and Technology, abbreviated NORMISIST) is a state-controlled university inAgusan del Norte, Philippines. Its main campus is in Ampayon, Butuan City with an auxiliary campus in Cabadbaran City.

On July 27, 2009, the Congress of the Philippines passed into law Republic Act No. 9854 which was signed by President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo on December 16, 2009, fusing together Northern Mindanao State Institute of Science and Technology in Butuan City and Northern Mindanao College of Arts, Science and Technology in Cabadbaran City into Caraga State University retaining the Butuan City branch at its main campus.

Bulacan State University (Filipino: Pamantasang Pampamahalaan ng Bulacan) is a state-funded institution of higher learning established in 1904 by virtue of Act 74 of the Philippine Commission of 1901 as an intermediate school set up by the American regime. It was converted into a chartered state university in 1993 by virtue of Republic Act 7665. Its main campus is located in City of Malolos, Bulacan province, Philippines. It has four satellite campuses in the province (Bustos Campus in Bustos, Sarmiento campus in San Jose del Monte, Meneses campus in Bulakan, Hagonoy and Pulilan Campus in Pulilan). It also has an international campus in Hong Kong that offersgraduate and collegiate degree courses.

The university is mandated to provide higher professional/technical training and promote research, advanced studies and progressive leadership. It has been identified by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) as one of the Center for Excellence and Development institutions in the country and one of the Training Centers nationwide for teachers pursuing education in areas beyond their specialization.

The Bataan Peninsula State University was established by Republic Act 9403 which was signed into law on 22 March 2007.

Before the conversion, BPSU used to have three campuses; two are located in the City of Balanga while the third is situated in Orani, Bataan. The passage of RA 9403 resulted in the expansion of BPSU's campuses as the Act integrated the Bataan State College in Dinalupihan and its satellite campus in Abucay. In 2008, BPSU established an extension campus in the town of Bagac, Bataan.

The Bataan Peninsula State University was established by virtue of Republic Act 9403, signed into law on 22 March 2007. It is a conglomeration of higher education institutions in Bataan.

On June 2008, the university made education more accessible to the residents of the towns of Bagac and Morong by establishing an extension in the Municipality of Bagac. The extension offers courses like BS Entrepreneurship, BS Hotel and Restaurant Management, first two years of Nursing, and General Engineering courses.

The university has three programs granted with Level 1 Accreditation from AACCUP. Fifty-six programs are scheduled for accreditation from 2008 to 2012. Six percent of the faculty have Doctorate degrees and 31 percent have master's degrees. The rest are still working on their post-baccalaureate studies.

Bacolod City College (BCC) is a community college operated by the local government of Bacolod City, Negros Occidental, Philippines. The college was legally established by virtue of City Ordinance No. 175, Series of 1997. City Ordinance No. 175, series of 1997 was known as the Charter of Bacolod City College. It was passed by the Sangguniang Panglungsod with a majority vote on April 10, 1997 and was approved by the City Mayor on April 16, 1997.
